Brandon Wyatt Berrellez was a U.S. Marine Veteran whose life ended suddenly at the age of 23 in 2017.

Brandon was a loving son to his mother & father. To others, he was a grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, boyfriend, and military buddy who had just begun living his life.

Brandon talked often about things that he and his two brothers, both Marine Vets, experienced after their service. These things served to show cracks in a system designed to help veterans apply for and negotiate jobs, homes, and the various benefits afforded a U.S. Military Veteran.

We have humbly started Brandon's Battalion Project as a way to give back to those veterans. We intend to work with any Veteran who comes to us in need of assistance...from the seemingly mundane like writing a resume, preparing for a job interview, business networking, housing assistance, opening of bank accounts, buying home/life/auto insurance, and helping them apply for available Veterans networking with other Veterans' groups to establish programs for emergency/interim housing for Homeless Veterans, accessing government land leases for the establishment of low-cost manufactured housing for Homeless Vets, and finding affordable appliances and furniture.

We want Veterans who need help to get that help without embarrassment or unnecessary red tape, and WITHOUT CHARGE.

We are now selling, through our online store, used appliances, furniture, toys, office supplies, & clothing, in good shape and in good working order. All profits will be going to fund our work with local Veterans in need. We have just opened a small office/thrift store in Ventura County.  We will advertise and sell donated items at thrift prices to the public.

We also will be offering OFFICIAL BRANDON'S BATTALION GEAR: Quality custom t-shirts, caps, hoodies, and other custom gift items.

Very important however, is that we are setting up a system by which any Veteran in our area, who is in need of appliances, furniture or anything that we have, will be afforded that item free of charge.

Of course, all services will be given to those vets who register with us at NO CHARGE ever.

We will also be working on social media to bring attention to causes that affect Veterans in general, and some that affect individual veterans. Hopefully, the positive attention we bring can help those veterans with the things that they truly need.

We ask for the smallest bit of your help in our labor of love...

Simply by purchasing and reviewing our t-shirts you do that. Later, we hope that you can refer others to our page and our project. Then, if the possibility presents itself, perhaps even a donation of working appliances, clean furniture, or working toys.

We are awaiting our IRS 501(c)(3) designation as a Non-Profit, so that we can issue tax deductible receipts for all cash donations. We will let you know on this page and elsewhere when that happens.

In the meantime, we are available to pick up many items that we can use to help local veterans in the Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara & Orange county areas as well as the Inland Empire. Due to space and time issues, we are very picky on what we will pick up. We hope that you understand. If we can, we will gladly pick up items to be delivered to other deserving organizations. Please be patient and understanding with us.

We will be able to help local Vets and even Vets nationwide with certain services and support via social media, online video instruction, and crowdfunding support. We are talking to local charities and non-profit organizations that have facilities such as food banks and construction projects for low-cost and no-cost temporary and permanent Veteran housing who are in need. We are very excited about the possibilities.

Thank you for reading all of this, and we hope that you can remember us in your prayers, in your conversations with friends and family, and in your hearts.
